FAQ
How do I pay for classes?
Visit our Classes page and select your class by clicking on the "Book Now" button. This ensures your registration for the class or course.
You can e-transfer the course tuition to tencdanceco@gmail.com, but please make sure in the message to put the following information:
-
Your full name
-
The class name and location (ex: Bachata level 1, Kitchener)
-
The day of the week and time
-
Your role (leader or follower), if applicable

Are your classes progressive?

Yes, our classes are designed for specific levels, either Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. They are also numbered for progression. Ex: Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Beginner 3.

Can we still join your classes after the course has started?

It is possible to join after the start date if we assess your level and determine that you could be good match for the group's level. A private lesson might be required to catch up on the curriculum covered so far the course.

Do you accept "drop-ins"?

Drop-ins are accepted for all beginner classes if there is availability. Drop-ins are priced higher than courses or memberships. For the best value, please check our classes pages.

How long are the courses?

You can find our classes schedules on this site by checking our online calendar. Most courses are 4 weeks at 50 minutes per week.
What should I wear for class?

We recommend indoor dance shoes or slippers with soft soles for turns and clothes that allow easy movement. We discourage wearing excessive jewelry or clothes with a lot of metallic pieces, as these can get stuck in your partners' hair or clothes during turn patterns or close positions.

Can parents or friends watch?

Yes, parents and friends can sit and watch the class inside the room as long as they do not interrupt the class.

Do I need to bring a partner?

In general you will not be required to bring a dance partner to class as we normally rotate partners during the class.

For any partner dances, you will receive a discount when you register with a partner of the opposite role (leader & follower).
